Meet Colonel Senders: Grind Hard Plumbing Co.’s 100 Horsepower Off-Roader Is Done!

The transition from a Power Wheels toy meant for a precocious three-year-old to tool around the front yard in to a beast that requires skill, strength and a completely inactive self-preservation instinct has been a fun one to follow. The guys at Grind Hard Plumbing Co. have gone out of their way to improve upon each and every one of the little beasties that they build and this thing…a mixture of a Jeep Hurricane toy, a KTM engine that is pushing over 100 horsepower, and a four-wheel-drive system with a front locker. Yeah, that’s a legitimate thing now. This is everything any kid could’ve asked for a more than most adults would be able to handle in a vehicle this size.

How to put this into perspective? The engine in the “Colonel Senders” Jeep is a fuel-injected V-twin that is pushing out more power than a Chevy Spark, with a seat just big enough for an adult and barely anything else to do with a body. It’s a beastly thing and now, it’s a looker too. After finalizing the build layout and adding some extra strength in the back, it was blown apart, the metal parts blasted and cleaned up, everything got painted and now it’s together, pretty and ready for whatever they are going to do with it now that it’s done. Rockcrawling? Roosting? All of that sounds pretty badass to us!
